Wines We Love – Tierra del Corazon Casablanca Pinot Noir Reserva 2010

Hi, my name is Greg Jarvis and I work in the New Business team. Essentially, I spend my time conversing with Marketing Directors and their colleagues convincing them that Virgin Wines is ideally placed to help reward their customers and foster goodwill amongst men and women. It’s not a hard sell because who doesn’t like £40 off their favourite tipple?!!

Although born in the UK, I grew up in South Africa under the hot african sun so during the bank holiday weekends you’ll find me BRAAI – ING rather than BBQ – ING with friends and naturally, enjoying some good wines. There is always plenty of food to go round, (that explains the stomach) so if you’re free why not pop round. Just make sure you bring a bottle! I’m partial to a good South African wine, of course, and Virgin Wines have got some crackers to offer. However, it is another southern hemisphere wine producing country that I’ve fallen in love with of late, and that is Chile. Virgin Wines were voted Specialist Wine Merchant for Chile in 2009 and judging by the number of cases of Chilean wine flying out the door, these wines are developing a cult like status. If you’ve never tried one before then I have just the wine for you.

Tierra del Corazon Casablanca Pinot Noir Reserva 2010 is a mouth watering delicious glass of luxury that I keep coming back to time and time again. At only £9.99 it comes in below the £10 barrier but is worthy of a much higher price tag. I strongly urge you to give this wine a try and of course if you don’t like it for any reason you can always fall back on our customer promise and we’ll give you your money back. In fact I’m so sure you’ll love it, I’m tempted to give you your money back myself!
