Andrew Baker On The North Ritz Road Viognier Pinot Grigio 2012

Today I want to talk about one of my absolute favourite wines, hailing from the USA. This wine is a delicious, refreshing offering from vines situated just outside Sacramento, California. The Viognier gives the Pinot Grigio a little flesh, a little body. Here is a video I filmed last year but it stills holds up with the 2012 vintage still in stock:

Another Virgin Wines coup, this fragrant Californian beauty is from Clarksburg County, a few miles outside Sacramento. There’s super-lush Viognier that provides exotic peachy notes, paired with excellent lemony-fresh Pinot Grigio. Taken together the blend gives a wonderful equilibrium, rare in US wines. We are delighted to have been part of the creation of this wine. It’s not only from pretty exciting stock, but is our No.1 drinking white of the season. A dangerously moreish drop too!

If you fancy popping a bottle of this wine in your next case, it’s currently on sale at £9.99, down from £11.99. Just click HERE to go direct to the bottle.
